It will soon be eleven years since the founding of the St Francis Paddling Club. So I thought it time to jot down a few lines about paddling in St Francis and our wonderful club. On 16 March 2011, MJ Pretorius and Chris Opperman (both now living elsewhere) persuaded us to form a club. I was somehow the first chairman, and Pete King the captain, a position he still holds!
